Cypress & Black Locust reclining chaise lounge chair. I designed and built a pair of these for some very special clients. They wanted outdoor lounge chairs that fit with the aesthetic of their home and could weather the outdoors.
Through tenons with Wenge wedges in the 3 stretchers of the frame give a modern and clean visual interest to the light-toned Cypress
Seat back parts before assembly. There are over 80 mortise and tenon joints in each chair.
Black Locust seat backs. The straight and clear grain invite a calm and peaceful mood.
